Witham Cottage is tucked nearly a mile from the main road, so there’s no traffic noise. It’s an ideal choice if you want peace and quiet. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped, with a very well-kept garden. The hosts are friendly and helpful.

We often sit by the river watching the wildlife and the world go by, or relax in the garden and admire all the work Kath and Alan have put into the surroundings. It’s a peaceful place to unwind from the daily grind. My partner and I have stayed at this beautiful cottage three times over the past 2 years, after finding it when overseas travel restrictions came in during COVID. Kathy and Alan are always welcoming. The cottage is immaculately clean, nicely decorated and stocked with everything we needed to cater for ourselves. We’re looking forward to another stay in the future.

Steve was incredibly helpful when I got in touch through the website about a Christmas gift for my mother and stepfather. They’d stayed at the cottage a few times, and he helped me arrange a voucher for a three day stay on dates that suit them. Great service, thanks again. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Friendly owners live next door. The little cottage had everything we wanted for the week we were there.
