Alexander Lodge Hotel

There are quirky shops and lovely seaside walks around the charming town, which made it hard to leave. We also woke to the sound of the waves and had a homemade breakfast that could rival a café. Emma and Tom greeted us so warmly, with thoughtful touches all around, and made us feel like old friends. This little B&B on the Cornish coast is a magical, cosy escape with really good service. We’d be back in a heartbeat, 10/10!

We loved every minute here. Andi and James were wonderful hosts, and the food they cooked was fantastic. It’s a beautiful little seaside bed and breakfast in South England. Bournemouth has lots to do and plenty of places to shop, too. 10/10, a comfortable, well-serviced inn that I’d recommend.

We were in Bournemouth for the first time and wanted to be near the beach. Alexander Logde worked out perfectly, under five minutes from the beach, near shops and not far from the town centre. The room was cosy and very clean, with extra pillows and blankets. Breakfast had an outstanding range, and we could choose what we wanted each day. The owners were a lovely couple who clearly love what they do, and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks so much for having us. We’ll definitely come back when we return to the coast.

The room was huge and beautifully decorated, and the hosts were attentive, friendly and accommodating. We had a peaceful weekend for our wedding anniversary, with a very convenient location set away from the noisy part of town. Breakfast was delicious, made with quality local ingredients. No complaints at all, and this would be our first choice if we visited the area again.
