Premier Inn Bournemouth Central

The room had lovely sea and pier views, and breakfast was really decent for the price. The location is brilliant, just minutes from Bournemouth Pier and the beach. They handled an awkward check-in on my side without any fuss and were friendly and efficient throughout. Lacey was especially helpful, quick to step in and gracious about it. Fantastic stay at Premier Inn Bournemouth Central. I’d absolutely return.

The room was unbearably hot and there was no air conditioning. There weren’t even windows to open. My partner and I sweated through both nights, felt uncomfortable in bed, and couldn’t sleep properly. We felt ill during the night as well. We reported the problem at reception the next morning. The staff member said there was nothing they could do because the rooms and the Premier Inn building had no air conditioning, then pointed out the fan in our room. We explained that it made no difference and only made the room feel hotter. This was our first stay at this Premier Inn, for two nights over the weekend, and the worst Premier Inn we’ve stayed at. We’ve stayed at many across the country, and every other one had air conditioning. This issue really matters in a hotel, and I think it’s very wrong of the organisation not to have it in the rooms. I wouldn’t return or recommend this Premier Inn.

The rooms with a view are spacious and good value, and the hotel has a prime location overlooking the Gardens. We had a small issue, but Miguel, the manager, was amazing, understanding and helpful. He sorted it out professionally and straight away. Excellent service. Thank you.

We’ve stayed here as a family before, and this visit was just as amazing. Miguel was fantastic and found us a room that suited our family perfectly. We had great views, and it was very quiet. Being on the 8th floor, we also had a lounge area that worked well with the children. The hotel bar staff were friendly, and the happy hour deals were great. We visit Bournemouth a few times a year, and this is our favourite hotel because the theatre, shops, cinema and restaurants are all walkable. The team go above and beyond. We’ll definitely be back, and hope Miguel and the same staff are still here.
