The hotel was spotless and in a great location. Excellent customer service, too. Lovely place, we’ll definitely return.

There are some thoughtful little touches, like a coffee machine downstairs and USB sockets on the electrical sockets. Friendly service, excellent value and a convenient location. The family-run hotel is charming and spotlessly clean. I’ll be back.

The owners were nice and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay. The location is really good, with various pubs, restaurants and local shops just down the road. We liked the spacious bathroom, the soap and shower gel, and the shelves were useful. But the wardrobe was in there too, and we didn’t put clothes in it because they’d soak up the moisture. After every flush, dirty water came back up, so the toilet system may not be working properly. We booked the family room, room 5, for a few days. It had one double bed and two single beds, which were quite soft, though the singles were a bit narrow. There was a good-sized TV, a useful mini fridge, comfy chairs and a nice chest of drawers. We had a balcony but couldn’t use it because we didn’t have a key, or weren’t given one. It faced a tree, so we couldn’t see the sea from there. We could only spot the sea in the distance through the side window. The tea room was advertised as open 8am-7pm and had a coffee machine, toast, a few pastries, melon and watermelon, and other fruit. There weren’t cake slices every day. When there were, they weren’t the Swiss Roll-looking ones in the pictures, but really dry marble cake. Although the room said it was open until 7pm, these items were only available 8-10am, then put away, which was disappointing. I also thought 7pm was early to lock up, since most guests are out during the day and early evening. It should stay open until 9pm.
