Winter Dene Hotel Beachside

It felt more like staying in a home than in a hotel, in the nicest way. Our room was lovely, spotless, spacious, and had pretty paintings dotted around. Breakfast was cooked fresh and tasted great, with a view of the garden while we ate. Parking was available at the hotel, and it was an easy walk to both the beach and town centre.

The location made it easy to get to the beach and town centre, and there was plenty of parking on site. We had enough room to turn our Volvo XC90 around in three moves. Our son loved the owner's mineral display cabinet, and the next morning the hotel manager gave him a big lump of quartz, which made him very happy. The management team and staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned every day, and tea, coffee and condiments were replenished without us having to ask, unlike at plenty of big hotel chains. There was lots of storage, with a wardrobe and safe plus two large drawer units. The beds were extremely comfortable, and breakfast was huge and excellent. We'd definitely recommend the Winter Dene and look forward to coming back.

We liked it so much we added another night to our stay. The proprietors were really friendly, and Renzo kept us laughing at breakfast. The breakfast itself was absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were large and very clean, and the hotel was quiet. It's only a short walk to the beach or the Town Centre. We'll definitely come back when we're in Bournemouth. It was peaceful and relaxing because the hotel was so quiet, which we really appreciated. The building is beautiful too, with colourful flowers around it that looked well cared for. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating, always around if we wanted help or a chat. When we needed an extra blanket, they brought one. We had plenty of breakfast choices, so there was no worry about getting bored with them. The room had a huge, comfortable bed and lots of storage, handy for a longer stay. The bathroom was modest but clean and equipped. A fan and a portable heater were there in the room as well. The hotel was clean and well equipped.
