We especially liked having our own bathroom across the corridor and a fully equipped shared kitchen, which made the place feel like home. We spent three nights in The Wray Valley Room at Yarner House, after finally finding it along a beautiful, quiet woodland road. The castle-like country house has a fabulous view over Dartmoor National Park, and it looks even better in person. I'll remember the sunrise view from our bedroom and having Cream Tea in the garden that afternoon. Phoebe and Lily welcomed us warmly and were patient and kind throughout. It was a dream stay, and we hope to be back soon!

Lily and her mum were lovely hosts, and they made us a delicious breakfast each morning. We stayed in the Silver Suite, which was furnished to a very high standard and had a wonderful big Moroccan bath by the window. Yarner House sits just inside Dartmoor, with panoramic views and walks, attractions like Becky Falls and Haytor Rocks, and good pubs and restaurants nearby. There's a kitchen and lounge for self-catering too. A wonderful, relaxing stay, and we'd definitely come back.

The moorland-edge views were stunning, and the luxurious rooms made for a fabulous stay last summer. It felt like a real escape from the rat race. I can highly recommend it.

The bathrooms were huge and stunning, and there was so much space throughout this amazing house in a fantastic setting. I was there as a hairdresser doing hair for a wedding, and I'd love to hire it as a wedding venue.
