The setting is beautiful, and the cottage feels cosy. It's well equipped, with a log burner that adds extra warmth.

The owners have thought of everything, though it is a little pricey. The village is so postcard-perfect that seeing an actual cricket match on the green blew my mind. The Red Lion, just across the green, is well worth a visit for food, drinks and ambience. It's a fantastic spot to base yourself for a visit to the area. We had a great stay and may well come back.

The owner was so lovely and had left us milk, tea, coffee, bread and jams. That was really thoughtful and made our getaway feel extra special. It's a nice little place in a beautiful, quiet village.

We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome hamper the owner left for us. A beautiful cottage in a lovely village.

It's an Airbnb, so there's no service, obviously. Still, it's a very cosy and comfortable cottage, with modern conveniences in a historic building. Fab.
