Be careful. The owner asks for one lease payment upfront as security, then adds charges for services that aren't in the contract and keeps the money. I have proof of everything, so I expect justice to be done, but now I have to wait for my lawyer to resolve this.

Michael and his wife made us feel very welcome for a lovely birthday weekend with family and friends at Elizabeth House Hotel. The food was lovely, and the hotel was clean with comfortable beds. My only suggestion is to make the steps into the garden lower, as they’re quite high. I know Michael hasn’t been managing the hotel for long and that they’re improving things gradually. I’d happily visit again and would recommend it.

Michael, the owner, was a superb host, and we had a very relaxing weekend at Elizabeth House Hotel. Our family room was comfortable and had a spacious shower room. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of continental options as well as a cooked breakfast. There was a good range on the dinner menu too. We’d recommend the steak and ale pie or rump steak. The dining room gets busy, so book an early table, around 6-6:30pm. Bracknell’s main shops and restaurants are a two-minute drive away or a 20-minute walk. A great place to stay for a weekend at Windsor Castle and Legoland. We’d highly recommend it.

Breakfast was a real highlight, and I’ll remember the garden and the warm hospitality. The garden is lovely, and the hosts were very friendly. Staff were patient and helpful. The rooms could be better, though I might be nitpicking since it’s not one of the top chains. A nice place for a short stay.

The outside doesn’t look like much, but there’s a warm welcome waiting inside. Our room was modern, comfortable, and immaculate, and both dinner and breakfast were much better than we expected. Dave, the charming chef, presented the food with real care and skill, and manager Michael was just as charming and welcoming. For a very reasonable price, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. If you don’t need the polished extras of an impersonal hotel, this is a good place to stay.
