We enjoyed peaceful walks and beautiful views in the surrounding countryside. Suzanne made us feel right at home, always kind and accommodating, and served delicious breakfasts that were a lovely way to start the day. Her charming country home was impeccably clean and well maintained, and the beautiful garden was a calm place to relax. We highly recommend it for a tranquil countryside break.

Suzanne is lovely and puts on a terrific breakfast. Our comfortable bedroom and the peaceful garden made a wonderful stay. I especially enjoyed having my morning tea there while listening to the Robin songs. The location worked perfectly for sightseeing in and around Bradford On Avon.

The view from our good-sized room over the fields was beautiful, and Suzanne was so friendly and knowledgeable about attractions to see nearby. Breakfast was wonderful, with a wide choice of hot dishes as well as cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit compote and toast. It really set us up for the day. At first we thought the cottage was in the middle of nowhere, but it made a perfect base for trips in every direction: Bath, Wells, Bristol, Western Super-mare, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury and Lacock village. We'll definitely return when we're in the area. Thanks, Suzanne ✅️

From our room we had an amazing view over a field full of cows, rabbits and birds. Suzanne, the hostess at Herb Cottage, made us feel right at home, and gave us good advice on where to eat locally. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious. A delightful place to stay.

We had such a lovely time, and felt very well looked after. The countryside setting is close to Bradford on Avon, and worked perfectly as a base for Longleat and Wookey Hole Caves. Suzanne was accommodating and made us delicious breakfasts. It was the perfect country retreat for me and my little girl. We loved it and would happily return!
