The service was excellent, and the curry came out hot and was really filling. We went for the Thai option because the menu didn’t offer many English dishes. My green curry was delicious, though a little hot. I was annoyed to see I’d been charged more for tofu than my friend paid for chicken, especially since there wasn’t any tofu available that evening. We’d only just arrived in Bradford-on-Avon and were looking for somewhere to eat on a Friday night. We went in to look at the menu, but the entrance felt a bit confusing. After they showed us to a table by the fire, we felt we ought to stay. The room itself had very little character, although the real fire was lovely. Drinks were average in price, and the bill felt a bit high, but we left full.

The Thai dishes were especially good, and there are pub classics on the menu as well. Food and drinks were excellent. The staff were friendly, efficient and happy to help, and never rushed us. We had a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Just a heads up, the ladies’ loos are very small.

The pub has a cosy, lived-in charm and a great spot in a lovely town. It’s dated in a pleasant way, rather than newly renovated. We ate there but didn’t stay at the hotel, and were glad we gave it a chance despite the lower average Google rating compared with other places nearby. The service was impeccable, and the fish and chips were among the best we’ve had in the area after trying at least 6-8 places. My son loved the Thai dishes too. We’d happily make it a regular place for a good meal at very reasonable prices.

We stopped in for an early dinner since the other places in town didn’t seem to be serving yet. It’s a sweet pub with both pub food and really lovely Thai dishes, and we went for Thai. The service was great, and the waitress was fantastic with our lively kids.

I keep going back to the Thai dishes, especially the salt and chilli squid, which is one of the best I’ve ever had. The regular menu looks great too, judging by the delicious plates I’ve watched go past to other tables. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.
