The Grand Mill

I've been living here for nearly a year now. For the rent, the rooms are a good size, especially since all bills except council tax are included. I'd recommend it for city centre living.

I've lived in The Grand Mill for just over a year and highly recommend it as an affordable, safe and secure building. Rent includes all bills apart from council tax. There's a wash room, gym and bike storage. If you're looking for somewhere central in Bradford that's affordable, safe and clean, I'd recommend The Grand Mill.

The room was the last straw. Once the owner had gone, we pulled back the quilt and found the bed heavily marked. We couldn't stay in those squalid conditions, so I booked another hotel and am writing this from somewhere that feels comparatively luxurious. We'd expected an apartment with a full kitchen, but were put in a tiny room with access to a shared kitchen. The bed wasn't really a double, and neither was the single-sized duvet meant to cover both of us. The Grand Mill sits in a run-down area, and there's nothing grand about it. Dire, dire, dire. I couldn't recommend it.

Getting access to an apartment you've acquired as an investor is a nightmare. It can take weeks before you're able to get into your own property.
