Frog Street Farmhouse

The house was lovely, but we hadn't been told it sits beside a public access way. People walked their dogs through the garden, and when I asked the owner whether they were allowed, I was told yes. We were in swimwear, so it felt like an invasion of privacy. I wish the description had mentioned it before we booked. A downstairs toilet would also have helped, as we had to go through a downstairs bedroom to reach it.

We only came for a long weekend and usually explore the surrounding area, but the facilities here made us want to stay put. The environment was very relaxing and comfortable. The spa pool lets you swim gently in place against a constant stream, and the hot tub was a bonus. Our biggest hit was the outdoor dining and seating areas.

David and Louise always make us feel welcome. The house was clean and spacious, the playroom was first rate, and the bedrooms were tidy and well presented. We loved the hot tub and pool area, and the barbecue hut too. The garden is spacious and nicely kept.

The house and garden are stunning, with plenty to keep everyone busy in rain or sunshine. The owners were so welcoming and accommodating, sorting out any problems. They even spent 3hrs searching for extra sun loungers for us. We had an amazing time, thank you :)
