Grooms Cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped, and our hosts made us feel very welcome. We had a peaceful, relaxing stay and hope to return later this year. Liz and Tom.

We spent the weekend in a room in the house and loved it. Next time we'll book a cottage. The house felt like home, with a lovely light, pristine room, a spacious garden and an outstanding lounge with an open fire. The breakfast room had a fire too, and the food, spread and little details were all top quality. Ann and Mark were amazing hosts, making us feel welcome and going above and beyond. Their dog Frankie greeted us with a wagging tail and made us feel like part of the family. There are some amazing walks nearby and a lovely beech, and Ann and Mark know the area well, so listen to their tips. We really loved this hidden gem.

The Pony Barn at Pardlestone Farm was spotless and well equipped, so our stay felt completely stress-free. We made good use of the BBQ for dinners outside, enjoying the peaceful countryside. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. The space has been designed beautifully, with thoughtful details that make it feel stylish but still homely. It's a real gem, and we'd happily recommend it and love to return.

The views were so beautiful, and Ann knows the area inside out when it comes to walks. We had a weekend with Ann and Mark, who are fantastic hosts. The house and B and B rooms are stunning and full of original features. We can't wait to go back.

We had a lovely few days, and Ann and Mark were wonderful, going above and beyond. The room was beautiful and looked out over our horses in the back field, and breakfast was fab. If you're bringing horses, have them freshly shod, as the bridleways are steep and stony. Our horses loved it so much that one refused to leave and wouldn't load to go home. Mark spent an hour helping us and saved the day. Thanks for making my daughter's 16th so special and memorable.
