The owner was so welcoming and accommodating, and even upgraded us to a superior room at no charge because there weren't many guests that night. Our room was amazing, spacious, quiet at the back of the building, with a comfy bed and a great bathroom. We didn't eat there, though breakfast was nice. Klive beach is only a short drive away, and we had an amazing morning walk along the rocks and cliffs. A lovely little hotel and pub.

The Hood Arms was in a great spot for exploring the fossiliferous coastline. We had a brilliant three-night stay, with an outstanding room and food. I'd definitely recommend it. Thank you.

We stayed in Rm 4, which was clean and a great size. The hosts were helpful and very focused on looking after guests, including accommodating my wife's intolerance. Breakfast was well presented, and we slept really well beforehand. The food looked amazing, though we regret not getting to try it. I'd highly recommend The Hood Arms. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

I've been coming here since my puppy was just a few weeks old, and it's easily my favourite pub. Paul, Tracy, Kathryn and the whole team are incredibly kind and hospitable. They always make a point of greeting my family and my Pup, who they know so well now. The place has such lovely energy, and the staff are genuinely wonderful. I celebrated my birthday there and was so glad I did. They paid lovely attention to the details and served me an amazing cake. The night was perfect. The food is impeccable, with a varied specials board alongside a solid menu. Their Sunday roasts are the best I've ever had.

We had dinner and breakfast during our overnight stay, and all the food was tasty and generously portioned. The room was lovely, everyone was friendly, and the dog friendly welcome was genuine. A few well kept pints of Otter Bright were a nice bonus. We'd definitely like to return.
