I've stayed in a lot of holiday places, and this cottage is the best. It's well equipped, with plenty of walks nearby and a lovely enclosed back garden that catches the sun. The furniture sits a bit low if you have mobility issues, but otherwise it's superb.
Such a cute, comfortable place for a break from busy life. The house was very clean and had everything for self catering, including a big fridge and freezer, washing machine and microwave. The double bed was really comfortable, and there's a shower over the bath. There's also a little front garden with a picnic table, plenty of sockets, and a TV with Freesat and WiFi. Lots of lovely walks in the area too.
We had a lovely week at lobster cottage, and our dog enjoyed it too. Sue, the owner, had left homemade carrot cake and some things for hot drinks when we arrived, which was a thoughtful touch. The cottage felt homely and had everything we needed, including an enclosed patio for the dog. Parking is just a minute's walk away, and the local shops and dog-friendly pubs are close by and serve lovely meals. There are plenty of different walks for the dog. We'd definitely return.
A two-bedroom cottage with everything you need, right in the centre of the village. It's a good base for walking along the clifftops around Flamborough Head to see the lighthouse. Good pubs and a fish and chip shop are nearby too.
We spent a relaxed week at Lobster Cottage from 5th to 12th June 2021. It was a lovely little place, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.
