The views can be amazing, especially from an even-numbered apartment, which looks out over the sea. The location is great, right by the beach, promenade, amusement arcades and fairground rides, with shops just two minutes away in the town centre. There are lots of places to walk a dog, people are friendly and say hello as you pass, and Bridlington’s leisure centre has great facilities. It’s a cheap bedsit apartment that allows dogs, with furniture and finishes to a good standard and some lovely bedding. The shower is nice, though it’s over a bath with no taps, which just reminds you that you can’t have a long soak. Proper shower trays would be better. A few things bothered me during my stays here. The door locks are weak, and a shove opened the door, so I wouldn’t leave valuables behind. There were no bin bags or toilet rolls, which can be a problem. There’s no person to speak to in an emergency, just an answer machine at the phone number. Noise travels through the walls, too. For the price it’s not bad, but customer service needs work. This place has been going for a while.

I’ve stayed here more than three times and hadn’t had any problems until my last visit. The place is still nice to stay in, but there were a few issues. The bathroom door on level 2 was very stiff, there was lots of banging from other customers, and two young drunk adults came upstairs with kids. One of the parents nearly fell through into our room. When I went to shower, there was shampoo in the basket but no shower gel. It was too late to ask for any once I was in the shower, and I hadn’t checked because there’d never been a problem before. At check-in, the guy seemed not to know I was booked in. He’s normally on the ball, and I don’t think he’d checked the emails about my requests. I usually get a reply, but this time I didn’t.

The location is great, and the room itself is fab: a double bed, kitchenette, little sofa, chair, dining set and small shower, all laid out really well. The fixed TV would be better on a swivel bracket. We took a star off because we had to clean the sofa and the other furniture. The first night was awful, though. The couple upstairs argued, screamed, shouted, banged around and threw things, and my husband and I didn't get to sleep until 4:30 a.m. Thankfully they left the next day. We’ll book again, and I’d recommend it.

The apartment is right in the centre, about a minute's walk from the beach, with takeaways and restaurants nearby. It was lovely and clean, and the staff and owners were friendly and really helpful.

The hosts were so kind, and everything was within walking distance. The apartments were beautiful and clean, with great views. Parking comes down to luck, but we managed fine. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
