We had a hot tub in the garden and parking, and the beach is very close. Inside, there was a huge dining table, a well-equipped kitchen, and a bar area we enjoyed. It worked brilliantly for our family group of 12, with a cot and high chair available too.
The private garden has a hot tub, there's plenty of parking, and the beach is just two minutes away. The Rivendell has been turned from a six-bedroom hotel into a lovely holiday let for 12, with a beautiful kitchen-diner and utility room added. A great place.
The owners are on site but keep to themselves, while making sure you have a wonderful stay. We had a lovely week here with my family, and The Rivendell had everything anyone could want. I'd recommend it, just not so much that I can't get a chance to come back.
We're here for a week and already feeling so relaxed. It's a fantastic self-catering place, and the hosts are really nice and friendly.
It was nice, though I liked the 3 gables guest house more.
