The George Guest House

We were only about a five minute walk from the shops, bars, and beach, and on-street parking was a bonus. After two nights, I'd book again in a heartbeat. The room was quiet and spotless, with comfy beds and pillows, plus blackout curtains that actually worked. There was a sink in the room and a bathroom shared with just one other room, and it stayed spotless the whole time. Manda was friendly and welcoming, breakfast was spot on, and nothing was a problem. They even had a stair lift. Keep up the good work xx

We needed somewhere reasonably priced near the annual soul event and the town centre, and this guest house ticked all the boxes. Manda looked after everything, from parking to the room. Many thanks, we'll definitely stay again.

The location is brilliant, and the owner was a really lovely lady. I stayed for a weekend in a cute little room with a TV, Netflix, Wi-Fi, an en-suite bathroom, kettle, and a nice little table and chairs. The room was cold one of the nights, but it didn't spoil the stay since we got back really late both nights, so it wasn't much of an issue.

Amanda is such a kind, genuine person. Whenever I texted with a question, she always sent a lovely reply. We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms were very clean, and you could tell the shared bathroom was cleaned every day. There was a cute, generous basket of welcome snacks, plus bath items like shampoo, conditioner, and bath scrub soap. The location is very central, about a five minute walk from pubs, entertainment, and arcades if you've got kids, and close to Bridlington beach and the small fair with a few rides. Free Wi-Fi and great service, we had no problems. I definitely expect we'll come back, and I 100% recommend this lovely, affordable hotel for a few nights or longer.
