Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of locally sourced choices. We went for a full English, muesli and coffee. Alina was a ray of sunshine, and she and Barrie were so helpful that even a bad morning turned into a great day with a simple good morning. They also shared local tips on walks, hikes and places to eat. We booked at the last minute on Airbnb and were delighted to find this place. The accommodation was the best presented we’ve stayed in, with immaculate cleanliness that made it feel like we were the first guests. There’s a bedroom, lounge and bathroom, all a good size and with plenty of storage. The shower was good too. Barrie and Alina were polite and attentive throughout, always ready to help. The outside of the property is welcoming too, with lots of plants and ornaments. A**

The cottage was tidy and clean, and breakfast was lovely. Barrie and Alena were very welcoming, and it’s an ideal base for visiting Bempton Cliffs and other coastal spots. I’ll stay again.

Martin was on hand to make sure all was well during our third visit. The cottage is very small, but works fine for two or three people, with good quality fittings. There are twin beds in the bedroom, a bath and shower in the bathroom, and a sofa bed, TV and the usual gadgets in the living room. It’s a handy base for Bempton RSPB, Flamborough, Filey, Bridlington and more. The big draw at The Stables is the huge full English breakfast, made with fresh local food and cooked perfectly. It’s legendary.

We’ll be back. The annex was comfortable, with beds, a small sitting area and a bathroom. Breakfast was very good and served in the main house conservatory. Our host was knowledgeable and helpful, and the location is fantastic, especially for the RSPB centre at Bempton Cliffs.

We’ll certainly return to this find. The B&B was clean and comfortable, and our hosts served excellent breakfasts in a very nice conservatory. It was just perfect for us.
