The Sun Trap @ Bridlington's Bed & Bowl Beach Breaks

We brought our chocolate Labrador, who loved running on the nearby beach. The chalet was cosy, well furnished, and clearly looked after, with a real home-from-home feel. We had a lovely overnight stay, and the owner communicated really well with us before and after the visit. Recommended.

The Suntrap chalet was a lovely place to unwind for four nights over my birthday. It has great views and feels like a home from home, with the beach just a short stroll away. It's beautifully done out, and we'll definitely book again. Thank you, Irene.

My sister and I stayed here in winter, when it was wet and cold. The chalet warmed up quickly with the gas fire or the freestanding radiators. Gas and electricity are metered, and the meter takes £2 coins. We had complimentary wifi and a parking space beside the chalet, and loved settling down to Netflix before bed. It's a cosy, characterful place with a home-from-home feel, and more than just a base for trips to the beach, Bridlington and Hornsea. The location is lovely, overlooking a field and just a stone's throw from the beach. Inside, it's decorated in light, airy colours with lighthouses and seaside touches. There are two double bedrooms, a small bathroom, a kitchen area and a good-sized living room. We stayed in Irene's other chalet, The Bolt Hole, last year and loved it too, but this one is more spacious. We'd definitely like to come back.

The chalet is compact but suited our needs, and the beach is close by. We loved the view and the outdoor space, especially for our dog. The Makis club at South shore has a pool table and does a great Sunday lunch.
