The hot tub was a brilliant extra, and Yvonne was friendly and really helpful. We had a great long weekend with friends. The house has wonderful bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and lots of shared spaces, so there was room for everyone. The kitchen was well supplied, and we could watch Netflix on the TV. It’s also well placed for getting to the beach.

The place was very clean and could have been a superb stay, but the lack of upkeep was disappointing. The hot tub water wasn't in great shape when our holiday began, and with fourteen of us it was unusable by the end. Other places do a water check midweek, but this one doesn't. Around the house, a front bedroom's furniture was falling apart, the mattresses badly need replacing, and bedroom curtains were coming off their hooks. Some bedroom doors only shut if you slam them, and I had to oil a bathroom door hinge because it was so noisy. The dining chairs were wobbly too. A few small fixes would make a big difference, even something as simple as adding a shelf above the bathroom sink. Very clean and nice, just not well maintained.
