Moonfleet Manor

We’ve just returned from a weekend at Moonfleet Manor and hope to come back. The views were gorgeous, the amenities were spot on, and my partner and child both said their spa treatments were 10/10. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I felt completely at ease in the welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Our child and dog were well catered for, as were we. Thank you so much!

The service stayed impeccable throughout, with the team going above and beyond to make us feel valued. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth, professionalism and genuine care, which made the stay feel luxurious and relaxing. Our room was beautifully appointed, spotless and incredibly comfortable, a lovely place to unwind.

We went as usual today to use the soft play for my little nephew, like we’ve done every week since he was born. He’s under two, so it’s free, and we’ve never been asked to pay before. This time we were told to pay £30 for half an hour, even though he’s still little and gets tired quickly. The receptionist was rude and snobby. She wouldn’t accept that we’d never paid before, even when I showed proof of how many times we’d visited, and still demanded the £30. Moonfleet has now lost three very good customers over this. £30 for a little child to play for half an hour is astonishing when we can go somewhere free with more to offer.

Our six-year-old daughter had a great time in the play den and activity room, and enjoyed the bowling and golf too. The whole place is set up so parents and children have what they need. We loved the food and drinks at every meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner on most days. A special thank you to Wendy on reception and Karen in the restaurant. They were wonderful with our daughter and so kind in making sure we were comfortable and looked after. We’ve just got home after a wonderful few days at Moonfleet, with memories we’ll always treasure. Thanks for such a lovely week!
