There’s no parking at the property, but the council car park is just a two-minute walk away, and there are plenty of good places to eat in town. The pub serves breakfast but not other meals. We stayed for two nights to catch up with old friends. The rooms were spotless and had plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits. The staff were lovely, polite, helpful, and attentive. There were lots of breakfast choices, and the food was very good. I recommend the eggs Benedict. The pub feels welcoming too, with an excellent range of real ales, and it’s highly regarded by the local CAMRA group. Would recommend.

I was with four mates visiting a former workmate, and we had a two-night stay in Lyme Regis. We were there in February, so the area was quiet, but the pub had some good local characters enjoying the very well-kept ales. Breakfast was marvellous, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and warm. There’s no car park, but if you can’t get a space on one of the nearby roads, there’s a pay-and-display lot a couple of hundred metres away. I think it’s free from 18:00-08:00.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the bar had amazing beer and cider. The accommodation was excellent, and I’ve never had a better breakfast. Absolutely fabulous.

They have rooms, though I haven’t stayed in them. People who have say good things. This is my lovely local pub, with friendly staff and different ales every week.

I still love coming here after all these years of travelling to Bridport. It’s my number one pub when I visit family from Ireland. The staff are great, and so are the drinks. I haven’t stayed in the rooms, but people I’ve met have given them great reports.
