The decor and atmosphere are lovely, and the view was nice. Food there is very good, though the choices are limited, and the rooms seemed fine and were very clean. Staff were professional. Rooms can be pricey, so keep that in mind. I’d recommend it for a short stay in Brighton.
The pebble beach is beautiful, very clean and clear, and calm, with lots of birds around. It gets really cold and windy there in winter, but it’s still a must visit. There are adventurous activities like a zip line and freefall, plus delicious seafood and sorbets to try.
We were quoted £115 for a double room, but when we arrived they put us in a small twin room and said all their rooms cost £115. Their website lists twin rooms at £70 a night, yet we were charged £115 a night. That’s wrong.
The sea is lovely, blue, and clean, and in summer you can relax in it and get a good tan. The beach itself is rocky rather than sandy, which makes walking along it hard. There are fun centres and nice restaurants nearby, so you can spend the day eating and enjoying yourself. A lovely beach in the south of England.
The hotel was good apart from what was going on in the lobby in the evening. Staff were drinking, smoking, and swearing 🤬. If that sort of behaviour bothers you, this probably isn't the hotel for you.
