Green Diamond by Creatick Apartments

Despite being right in the centre, the apartment was incredibly spacious. It was comfortable, well equipped, and we had no trouble with noise. The hosts communicated really well. It’s in a great spot, close to Brighton’s main attractions.

The apartment was clean, but the rest of the stay was a mess. The agent wasn’t there when we arrived, and the cleaner showed us in. We’d booked a sea-view apartment with one room containing a king bed and a single, and another with a king bed and a double sofa bed. Instead, we got two rooms with double beds and two sofa beds, with no sea view. It wasn’t the cleaner’s fault, but reaching anyone else was a nightmare. They eventually admitted they’d double booked and given our room to someone else. One sofa bed had a spring sticking out, sagged in the middle and had hard wooden boards to sleep on. At 3am, then again at 3.30am, the bars emptied bottles into the bin and the noise was ridiculous. Returning the key was another ordeal. We were told to take it to Izzy's shop, but the man there refused because we didn’t have green tags. What green tags? We had to go all the way back and leave the keys in the unlocked apartment. Not ideal, and a stupid system. I won’t give them my money again.

The place felt really secure, and being so close to the beach was a big bonus. It was spotless and roomy for the three of us. Picking up the keys from the store was quick and simple. I loved my stay and already can’t wait to come back.

Airhost Agency were so helpful and quick to respond, and the flat was lovely, clean, and beautifully furnished. We were only a few minutes from the beach and right in central Brighton. There’s a little bench by the entrance where I could sit with other guests without being disturbed, even at night. Dropping off the keys was easy too, since it was on the way to the train station. I’ve got nothing but praise for the whole experience.
