The location is great and the price is low, but I felt unsafe enough that I wouldn’t stay again. I could hear everything from the other rooms, and the ground-floor room’s lock didn’t seem secure. I ended up pushing the bedside table against the door to feel a little safer. I don’t usually write reviews, but this seemed worth mentioning.

I lasted about 30 seconds after getting through the door, then left and found somewhere else to stay. I felt it wasn’t safe, and the place shouldn’t be open for guests. I’d rather sleep under the pier. They still refused to refund me after I’d left. Avoid it.

We got up at 3am and left because the bed smelled so bad. The room had no windows, was dirty, and smelled damp and mouldy. The shower was mouldy too, and the photos gave a completely false impression. This place deserves zero stars.

The location is great, the shower was decent, and the woman on the phone was kind and helpful when I was trying to get inside. Getting in was a whole ordeal, though. The keypad didn’t work and I was left outside on the street for ages. Once I finally got access, a man was in my room. He said he was the cleaner and needed a few minutes, which was fine, but he sat scrolling TikTok, and the room was still dirty when he left. It smelled of cigarette smoke and the sheets seemed like someone had just slept in them. For a budget hotel, basics like clean sheets and being able to get into your room still matter. The check-in process was ridiculous. Avoid.

The location was the only thing in its favour. The shower barely dribbled water, and it was only lukewarm. No, no, no.
