The room was surprisingly spacious and really nice, even though the entrance looked a little tired. We enjoyed the plentiful, tasty breakfast and also had evening meals with the deal, which were good value and very nice. The restaurant team worked hard to make guests comfortable, and Ester especially went out of her way to welcome us. The location is hard to beat, right in central Brighton, close to the seafront, pier and Pavilion.
We stayed for a week and had a lovely time. The team were friendly and professional, with a good feel for when to be understanding. Marco deserves a mention for being cheerful throughout. He lent my partner a pen so she could write in a card, and was helpful and upbeat in general. Thanks to everyone who helped make our stay a good one. We hope to return next year.
The staff were fantastic, friendly and quick to help. When we said the higher floors were difficult for us, they moved us to another room straight away. The room was fine, though it wasn't quite as clean as other Premier Inns we've stayed in. The corridors and walkways also felt a bit worn. The entrance was very grimy, and the old, rickety lift between reception and the rooms was so tiny it couldn't fit a wheelchair and luggage, let alone another person or carer. Breakfast was lovely, as usual.
Louise looked after us from the moment we arrived through our meal, and made a busy job seem effortless. She's genuinely lovely and personable, and a real asset to the place. The food was really good, and I'm fussy about food. We've stayed at plenty of Premier Inns and were very pleased with this one. We came from Basingstoke today and hope to visit again. Top marks!
The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and spacious, with a distant sea view and a view of the 360 ride. The windows need replacing, though: they were all blown and condensation inside the glass obscured the view. At breakfast, I hadn't realized I should book a dining space the night before. Marco still made me feel welcome, arranged the porridge I asked for, and it was on my table by the time I'd got my coffee and fruit. I arrived hoping to check in early, but all the self-service machines were set for 3pm. Louise from the restaurant came over and checked me in quickly. She explained that they used to leave one machine available for early arrivals, but everyone could use it, so they set them all to 3pm. It would help customers and staff if the machines could allow valid early check-ins. Louise and Marco made my visit to The Brighton Premier Inn with their great customer service. They're a credit to the team, thank you. 🙂
