Staybridge Suites Brighton by IHG

The shower may be the best I’ve ever had, and breakfast was excellent. The room was clean, modern and luxurious, with a comfortable bed and pillows, and was far beyond what I expected at this price. The receptionist gave us a lovely welcome. It’s just a one minute walk from the station, yet very quiet. I was really impressed and would stay again in Brighton, and look for other locations in the chain on my next trip.

If you’re travelling with heavy luggage, be ready for stairs. The lift from street level up to the station seemed to be on a permanent break, so it’s a bit of an unexpected workout. Even so, I’d definitely stay again at Staybridge Suites Brighton Station. It’s calm and spacious right by the busy station, and the large modern rooms are thoughtfully laid out, with bathrooms that feel properly sized. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, a real plus for a chain hotel. The hot breakfast was underwhelming, though the property makes up for a token breakfast. It’s brand new and perfectly located.

We got an upgraded room thanks to our IHG status, which was a nice surprise. It was large and modern, with everything needed for a comfortable stay and an especially nice bathroom. The suite’s small kitchen would be handy for anyone staying more than a few days. The complimentary breakfast had a good range of hot dishes and continental options. The hotel is around a 15 minute walk from the seafront and 10 minutes from the shops. A great, comfortable weekend stay in a handy location. I’d definitely return to Staybridge Suites Brighton.

Breakfast was nice, though I’d add bacon. The hotel is right in the heart of Brighton, with a cosy feel and spacious rooms that have what you need, including a kitchen and fridge. Bathrooms are large, with walk in overhead showers. There’s a gym, a social area with seating and a tuck shop, so plenty to do. All the cleaners and staff were super friendly. Would recommend!
