Reception staff were welcoming, and my ground floor room was clean and tidy. The location was fine, about a 10-minute walk from the centre, but the bed was uncomfortable. Noise from the room above woke me at 6am, and I couldn't get back to sleep. I was there on a Saturday night and had hoped for a lie-in. I didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on it. The hotel was roughly Premier Inn standard at best, and I've stayed in better ones. If you're expecting a Hilton experience, you'll be disappointed. Parking is a real pain. The hotel's own car park is small for a hotel of this size, though there's an overflow lot across the road. You have to pay for that lot through the Ring-go app, and can only book four hours at a time. Parking is free from 6pm to 8am, but for a two-night stay you have to keep buying daytime sessions every four hours, starting at 8am. I don't understand why Hilton can't offer guests a day rate. Between the parking, the uncomfortable bed and the noise, I wouldn't stay again.

Tayla and Annie at reception were so helpful, welcoming and professional, and Sam, Navi and Chakir in the restaurant gave us attentive, impeccable service. Andy and Ben from Maintenance were polite and ready to help with anything. The housekeepers I met were lovely too, especially Yuliia, and even the GM stopped for a chat. I came to the UK and Europe for the first time, with Bristol as my first stop. The whole hotel felt comfortable, welcoming and well staffed. Nowhere else on my trip quite matched the standard set here, and I couldn't wait to get back at the end.

Elena deserves a special mention for handling a problem with some unruly guests so well. She went above and beyond, stayed professional, and kept her dignity throughout. The front desk team in general were friendly and decent, with a real customer service ethos. The room was spacious and spotless, and breakfast was good, thanks to Sam and the team. The hotel is handy for the railway station and Bristol's main sights, all an easy walk away. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Bristol.

The rooms were comfortable and felt very clean, and breakfast had a good range of options. Staff were helpful and did all they could to make the stay pleasant. For £70, this stay was well worth it. A useful extra is the guest laundry: a wash costs £1.20 and a 12-minute drying cycle is £0.20. There's only one machine for everyone, though, so it can easily be in use when you need it.

I spent five nights here in January and would happily stay again. The location worked perfectly for restaurants, bars and sightseeing, and my room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and a special thanks to Sam at breakfast for the great service. The one downside was the bathroom, which was clean but quite small.
