The cabin was small, but the bed was comfy, and we got a warm welcome when we arrived. The shower facilities were excellent and everything was spotless. There’s tea and coffee, plus a great kitchen if you want to cook. Right in the heart of Bristol docks, it’s a lovely base, with plenty to do and lots of pubs and restaurants an easy walk away. We’d definitely return.

The rooms are comfortable, with plenty of plug sockets, though they’re understandably small. It’s a lovely, clean, contemporary hostel, and the kitchen and bathroom facilities are great. The staff were lovely and guests created a nice atmosphere. I’d recommend it and come back, but I did miss having a bedroom mirror, which made doing my hair difficult.

The people staying on board were friendly and respectful in the shared kitchen, and the general atmosphere was nice. The staff were welcoming, and the place was clean and well maintained in a very good location. My only real drawback was how small the rooms and beds were. A mirror, coat rack and window blinds in the bedroom would also have been useful.

I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting Bristol. It’s a very affordable, clean hostel, and the staff are warm and welcoming. Staying on a boat makes it feel unique, and the location is fantastic. There’s a nice lounge on the upper deck, with free hot chocolate and other things at the back. It’s the best hostel I’ve stayed in while travelling.

Nearby shipping containers make it easy to grab breakfast or dinner, and one of Bristol’s best cafes is just around the corner. The location worked perfectly for me: close enough to get into the city centre easily, but far enough away to feel undisturbed. We had a wonderful stay and a great view. Highly recommend.
