Premier Suites Bristol Redclif

A roomy suite at a really good price, within easy reach of the town centre and everything Bristol has to offer. The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. I’ve already told friends and family about it, and would happily book again.

We had a great stay in this two-bedroom apartment. It was a good size, spotless, and had everything we needed. Though the street was quiet, shops and restaurants were an easy walk away. The reception team were lovely and went out to buy us a corkscrew. We’ll definitely come back.

I can’t really review the property itself because they called just four days before we were due to arrive and told us the booking had been cancelled. They said some apartments were being sold by the leaseholder, apparently. Surely they could have given us more notice.

The suites are very clean and felt much better than a hotel for a work stay. Having the facilities to cook and relax made a real difference. My room had a small balcony opening onto a seating area, which was nice for getting some air. The staff I met were very friendly. I can’t remember the American lady’s name, but she was exceptional. A few practical things: reception is behind the metal gate on the right, so you can’t see it from the front, and key collection after hours can be arranged. The building is like a block of flats. Premier Suites has just eight parking spaces, so they book up quickly; opposite there’s limited parking for four or five cars at £10 a night. The access areas were clean but tired and could have done with a proper vacuum.
