Tyn Y Fron 6 bedroom house in Betws-y-Coed Snowdonia

Belinda was a caring host, and we all had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Tyn Y Fron Country House. Our group of 13 included three generations and people from three different nations, aged from 6 to 67, and everyone loved it. The rooms were spacious and clean, with lovely views. There’s plenty to do nearby, or within a 10-20 minute drive. We’d love to come back sometime soon.

We spent three unforgettable days at Tyn Y Fron Country House and Holiday Cottage in Betws-y-Coed with friends and family, celebrating New Year’s Eve. It was a magical mix of rural Wales and 1920s glamour, and a celebration we’ll always remember. The house and cottage sit in a picturesque spot at Lon Muriau, Llanrwst Road, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Inside, the rooms were spacious, the fireplaces warm, and the furnishings delightful. Everything felt cosy and elegant, with comfort clearly considered in the details. For New Year’s Eve, we put on a Great Gatsby-themed party. Everyone wore dazzling 1920s-style costumes, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating, helping with everything we needed, including table settings and lighting to suit the theme. At midnight we toasted with champagne, then went outside to watch a spectacular fireworks display against the peaceful countryside. We also enjoyed scenic walks, tried local delicacies, and explored nearby Betws-y-Coed during the day. The location worked well for both relaxing and finding things to do. Tyn Y Fron is a lovely choice for group gatherings, with comfort, beauty, and attention to detail. I wholeheartedly recommend it for an extraordinary getaway.

We had a lovely family holiday in this beautifully presented holiday cottage and coach house, with its stunning gardens.

The hosts, Lesley & Mike, made our B&B stay wonderful. Our rooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable enough for a great night’s sleep. We really appreciated being able to walk into town instead of driving and hunting for parking. They went out of their way to suggest local things to do, including the "Fairy Glen" walk, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious, and they made sure we set off with full bellies. We’ll definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area.
