We went for our first anniversary and had such a wonderful stay. The sea views were fantastic, and the location was great. Nothing seemed too much trouble when it came to looking after us, just as earlier reviews had mentioned. Breakfast was top notch. I'd highly recommend it if you're after a relaxing stay in Broadstairs.

Just a short walk into town, with the beach right opposite. The hosts couldn't do enough for us, and breakfast had loads of choice and was delicious. The rooms are cosy, clean and tidy. This is the most delightful B&B I've ever stayed in. Perfect, and I'd highly recommend it.

Breakfast was fantastic, mostly homemade, and they kept encouraging us to have more. Half-board, of course! The family-run place came with all the warmth, kindness and little perks you'd hope for. We had a lovely weekend and the staff treated us to the highest standard. Such a lovely little gem, we'd definitely come back and recommend it.

This was my second visit. Stone Bay is right by, the hosts are lovely and do their utmost to please, and the prices are sensible. Booking direct is cheaper. Just note the minimum stay is two nights. We had room 4, which was clean and functional but at the back, so I'd try for a sea view next time. It's only a few pounds more. Don't be put off by the lack of a full English on the breakfast menu. There's an unlimited fresh continental spread at the table, with pastries, croissants, cheeses and meats, plus delicious overnight oats. You're unlikely to leave hungry.

We had a lovely three days at the Devonhurst and are already planning another visit. David, Matthew and Kadriye made us feel very welcome. We chose the Devonhurst because it was a short distance from the 25th wedding anniversary at North Foreland Golf club, just a stone's throw from the Lighthorne of the same name. Our first-floor double room faced the sea, with windows on two sides and a small balcony. A short corridor at the top of the stairs led to our room and the stairs up to the second floor. The other double room beside ours also faced the sea and shared the balcony. Breakfast had a wide selection of cereals, yogurts and gluten-free products, along with a full English, juices, tea and coffee. They also had lots of locally sourced jams and marmalade from the wooden spoon company, available to buy. We bought two jars to remember our stay. The Devonhurst is good value and within walking distance of Broadstairs High Street and the beach. The open-topped bus No 69 also passes the front on its route around the coast of thanet.
