There were cobwebs in the room, and the coffee cups had tea stains inside. The room really needs a proper clean.

The staff were so friendly and happy to help with anything. Lunch was delicious, with tasty gravy, plenty of meat and potatoes, and a fresh range of vegetables. The prawn cocktail and pâté starters were lovely too. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it. 😋

The building has plenty of space, though it could use some TLC. We had a lovely Sunday lunch, with a choice of meats and generous portions of hot, home-cooked food. The homemade desserts were delicious, and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. Z

Everything was spotless, and the staff made us feel very welcome. They’re senior citizens, but they work incredibly hard. The food is phenomenal, proper old-fashioned English cooking like your mum or grandmother might make, with heavenly homemade puddings and custard. There aren’t many places serving food like this these days. Well done.

We’d not been for a few years, so it was nice to get back to our Sunday lunch visits. The home cooking was fab, and there was so much food that everyone left very full.
