We have six huskies, so finding a campsite that allows us to stay can be a struggle. This place was perfect for us, and we plan to come back regularly. It's laid back and beautiful, close enough for trips to the Moray coast but quiet enough to enjoy the peace. The toilets and showers were always clean and second to none. There are two playgrounds for the kids and a lovely walk into the woods. One night we spotted a pine martin and two badgers. I can't think of any downsides. Thank you!

The site has six pods and six hard stands, all looking out towards the Moray coast. It's a quiet spot with a good toilet and shower block, laundry and washing area, motorhome services, plus a small shop and play area. You can walk dogs in the neighbouring woods or head to Craigmin Bridge. The site is also on the Fishwive's Walk, which was new to me.

Our ferry to Harris was cancelled because of the storm, so we booked here at the last minute and headed east hoping for warmer, drier weather 🙂. It's a great site, with lovely facilities, a good view and plenty of walking. The enclosed play area makes it especially handy with young children, and there are nice places to visit nearby.

We were the only ones camping overnight in our tent on a windy day, with rain through the night. I'd booked ahead, and the owner was surprised when we arrived. It's a beautiful site with a small, nice camping kitchen. The showers and toilets were okay. I'd visit again.
