We spent February half term here with my wife and kids, and stayed warm inside despite the wind and rain outside. The place is spacious, very clean and better equipped than most similarly priced or even slightly dearer properties. The kitchen is well appointed, with plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils, and even sharp knives. It’s easy to get to Bude, with great coastline close by. Friendly farm cats are part of the welcome committee and will wander in to claim the sofa, so don’t leave your sausages out on the kitchen side. If I were the sort to return to the same area, I’d happily stay again.

The roads to the property are narrow and winding, but you get used to them and it’s worth the drive. The accommodation was excellent, with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. There are some great attractions nearby, making it a good holiday destination.
