Paddington’s room was clean and comfortable, and the tea, coffee, and biscuits were a nice touch. We had a lovely two-night stay and thought it was great value. The lounge and honesty bar were enjoyable too, and the housekeepers were friendly and helpful. It’s well placed for walking into Burnham Market and visiting the local pubs and shops. We also liked The Lord Nelson in Burnham Thorpe and Number 29. We’d book again when the special offer is on.

There’s no reception or food on site at the Railway, which made the setup a bit unusual, but it worked well and was excellent value. Our room opened onto the lounge and honesty bar, where we enjoyed chatting with other guests. The property was very clean and well appointed, with comfortable beds and a great bathroom. Burnham Market’s shops and restaurants are only a short walk away. We’d certainly stay again.

We needed a place in Burnham Market at short notice, and felt welcome as soon as we arrived, even though we didn’t meet anyone. The facilities were excellent, and our small room was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. Well done Barefoot Retreats!

Parking was easy, the room was beautifully presented, and the whole building smelled divine. We had the dog-friendly room opposite the shared lounge, which could get a little noisy in the evening. There were plenty of places to eat nearby; we went to The Nelson and Tilly's, just a few minutes away, and Thornham Deli is a favourite too. The Barefoot Retreats staff we met at the office were welcoming and knowledgeable. A very enjoyable stay at the Railway, many thanks.

My son and his girlfriend had a fabulous stay at the Railway. Their room was spotless, and the lounge with its honesty bar was a great place for a nightcap. Thanks, Barefoot retreats, they’ll be back 🤩
