Hill View Apartment

The accommodation was very well maintained and sits right by the beach in Brean. It’s ideally placed for the fun fair and arcades for children, with pubs next door and across the street. There’s also an Indian restaurant right next door that is unequivocally the best I’ve ever been to.

For my 40th, I stayed here with a friend and my pup. I’m from Somerset but had to move to Midlands, and I’d never stayed in a holiday flat before. I absolutely loved it. The beach is less than a five-minute private walk away, and the arcades and everything else are a minute away. No 3 was so clean and tidy. We met the cleaning lady on our last day, and she was such a sweetheart, full of giggles and really on the ball with cleaning. We will DEFINITELY stay here again. Love, love, LOOOOVED it.

The apartment was smaller than I expected, though it’s probably ideal for two, and it’s in a handy spot for the beach and everything Brean Sands offers. We had our grandson with us, but the small two-seater sofa meant he couldn’t relax with us in the evening and ended up lying on his bed. The dining chairs were very high, so they wouldn’t suit small children. We’d brought a large food shop for the week, but the fridge was tiny and the small freezer compartment was full of ice, so a lot of our food went to waste because we couldn’t freeze anything. We also had trouble getting hot water at the kitchen and bathroom sinks, so we boiled the kettle for washing dishes and other things. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and clean, but the bedrooms were very small and had little wardrobe space. They had left us bread, butter, juice and fruit on arrival, which was a lovely thought. We had a lovely holiday and would return, but we’d need a bigger sofa and fridge freezer.

We had a late break in this lovely little apartment, finished to a high standard and well equipped. Towels and linen were provided, and the place was very clean. There was even a welcome gift of basic food: bread, milk, butter, fruit juice and fruit. The private beach access is a real bonus. Highly recommend.
