The owner of this lovely house is very welcoming and nice to everyone. It’s a beautiful little church hotel near a lovely seaside village. The rooms were perfect and clean, with thoughtful extras like hot chocolate, crisps, biscuits, tea and coffee. The Scottish breakfast was the best I’ve had, and there was a continental breakfast too. 10/10.
Everything was spotlessly clean, Yvonne was so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was extremely comfortable, with tasteful furnishings, soft bed linen and lovely towels. This is a first-rate guest house, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone travelling in the area. The person who gave Cardinals Folly one star must be having a laugh.
The room was spotless, roomy, and really comfortable, with a lovely view of the sea. We also had a delicious home-cooked breakfast and a very nice host. It’s a peaceful fishing village, with beautiful beaches and walks nearby.
We’ve been back for a second visit, and enjoyed it just as much as the first. Yvonne and Steve are thoughtful hosts who are always willing to help. Breakfast is generous, with plenty to choose from, and their dining suggestions were excellent. We’ll be back again!
Our three nights at the Cardinals Folly were lovely. Yvonne and Steve made us feel very welcome, and the breakfast options were outstanding. The place was immaculate, with tasteful decor throughout. We’ll definitely stay again when we visit Kinghorn.
