We go here a lot, and it’s unbelievably family and dog friendly. The beer is great, but the menu changed about a year ago and hasn’t been as good since. There’s too much batter on the fish, the tartar sauce isn’t as nice as it used to be, and they’ve taken the delicious mushroom Bolognese off the menu.

We had a delicious late Sunday lunch in a lovely setting. Everything tasted beautifully fresh and well flavoured. The desserts looked so tempting, but we were too full to try one!

The seafood sharer at lunch was amazing, and the pub is in a lovely spot with very polite, attentive staff. There’s a good choice of bottled fruit ciders, though it’s a shame there’s no real cider. The Chardonnay comes highly recommended. Well worth a visit, and after eating, a short walk to the lovely beach and harbour, just five minutes away, is a nice way to burn off a few calories. Thanks!

We found a bright, pleasant room with a powerful shower, and the owners gave us a fantastic welcome. The food menu was interesting, and everything was freshly cooked. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Excellent stay, and I’d come again when travelling in Fife.

The beer was great and very good value, and the place was perfect for an evening of drinks. Accessibility could be better for someone in a wheelchair: there are steps between the lounges and a step up into the gents’ toilets.
