We travelled here for the food and it was well worth it. The service was friendly and attentive, and everything came out hot and tasted great. We had roasted salmon, a full rack of ribs, calves' liver and bacon, and chicken, leek and ham pie.

We came for breakfast on our first visit and really enjoyed it. The two full English breakfasts and maple pancakes were presented nicely and tasted great. Our hostess was lovely and friendly. We're only in the area for a visit, but would be happy to come back. Highly recommended.

We found this place on Google Maps, read the reviews, and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was great, the food was amazing, and Ella gave us lovely service. We had a fantastic anniversary meal. We've saved the place and will definitely return with family and friends.

I don't know why this only has four stars. I used to like coming here, though it had been years since my last visit. Someone recommended the roast, and I really enjoyed it. They brought plenty of extra gravy when we asked, and the cauliflower cheese was so lush. The sticky toffee pudding was lovely too. They offered custard and mixed it into the toffee sauce, which made a delicious caramel-like sauce. The staff were very polite and friendly.

This is our second stay before a flight from Gatwick, and it’s really convenient, only about a 15 minute drive from the airport. The pub food is good, with gluten free and vegan choices, and breakfast is good too. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the pig-themed decor is fun. A lovely pub and hotel, and I'm sure we'll be back.
