The food was out of this world. The chef made our dining experience very personal, with remarkable imagination and creativity in every dish. The quality, presentation, and flavours were exceptional. Special thanks to Stacey, Liz, Megan, Fiona, and Grace, who were amazing and helped make the visit so enjoyable. The whole team was attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The grounds are beautiful, and the hotel has loads of character and original features to discover as you look around. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom immaculate. From the moment we arrived at Newton Park Hotel Country House, Burton upon Trent, we felt incredibly welcome. The personalised service made our stay memorable and special. It has all the ingredients for a truly outstanding destination, and we can't wait to see how it develops with future changes and improvements. We'll definitely return and highly recommend it for a unique, memorable stay.

The lovely food, location, and helpful, hardworking staff outweighed the snags, and it was great value for money. I'd stay again and still recommend it. The renovated building is beautiful, comfortable, and cosy, and all the staff were lovely. Since it reopened a few months ago, there have been some teething problems. Our meals were charged to the wrong room, and it took a while to sort out. In our room, the toilet kept running all night until we fixed it ourselves, and a cheapish shower fitting wouldn't hold up the shower head.

After the hotel's recent refurbishment, we stayed in the Bridal Suite and found the quality outstanding. The lobby and bar are stunning and show the historic building at its best. Check-in was seamless, with a brief, professional tour of the room. Staff were friendly, approachable, and very professional. We had a minor issue in the room, but reporting it was quick and simple, and maintenance arrived within minutes. Excellent value for the standard provided. Highly recommended.

We dropped in at lunchtime last week on the spur of the moment, just to see if the hotel was open. Some lovely people welcomed us and our dog into the bar lounge. We chatted with the manager and chef, who made us a delicious lunch. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for dinner this evening, and the food was lovely again. It's convivial and feels very much like home from home. Plan a visit and enjoy, you'll be most welcome.

The food was delicious, and the new head chef even came out to check on things. The staff were brilliant too. I was there overnight for work, and the room was clean and comfortable, though it seems to be mid-refurbishment so there was a smell of fresh paint. The door rattled, so I had to find something to wedge it shut.
