We only spent one night here, but I’d gladly come back. The room was beautiful and very clean, and the owner was kind and easy to reach. It’s very close to Lakenheath Air Force base.

I booked Apple Tree Cottages for official military travel, then my orders changed at the last minute. I tried several times to cancel by phone, email and through Expedia, but nobody responded. Expedia also tried to reach the property and couldn’t get through for weeks. I’m extremely disappointed by the poor communication and customer service. It didn’t feel military-friendly, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The studio sleeps four and was lovely, spacious and very clean. The owners were extremely helpful. It’s ideally located for events at Newmarket races or nearby, and I highly recommend it.

The owner was really nice and accommodating. My room was nicely set up, and there’s a great shared area you can use. She even let me leave my vehicle there over the weekend while I wasn’t staying.
