Bushmills Hostel

After a long walk, the strong hot water and good pressure were especially welcome, and there was loads of storage. The beds were comfortable, and check-in was easy. It's an older building, as many hostels are, but for the area the price felt affordable. The location downtown is spot on.

I've stayed in hostels around the world, and this one is my favourite. It's a real gem, with a perfect location in such a pleasant place to visit. Matthew and the rest of the people running it are incredibly friendly, and they keep everything spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. Bushmills Townhouse next door serves delicious food, and several good pubs with drinks and live music are only steps away. Giant’s Causeway, excellent golf courses, and beautiful coastal walks are all in the wider area, so the hostel is a very convenient base. I hope to return.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a spacious room and a shower with good pressure and hot water. A great place to stay.

The location is central, but the private-room price here doesn't make sense to me. If you're driving, Aunt Rachel's hostel is about five minutes away and literally half the price, with everything provided, towels included. For just a few pounds more, you could get a local hotel with a full breakfast. Even if you needed a taxi, you'd still save money. I don't get it!
