We never actually stayed there, but the lovely lady who owns and runs the place is an absolute saint. Me and two friends were stranded in fog and pitch darkness, facing a two hour walk around mam tor. She kindly offered us a lift back to Edale and gave us one, even though she didn't have to. Thank you so, so much!

Jan and Neil looked after us so well, and started each day with a lovely breakfast they made. We had a delightful short break in the heart of the peaks, staying in a warm, cosy cottage that was perfectly appointed and immaculately clean. We went to Peak Cavern, hiked up Mam Tor and visited medieval Haddon Hall.

We had the best time at rushop hall (Pepper pot). It was really clean, and we had breakfast every day. Nothing was too much trouble. One of the best holidays we've had, and we'd have stayed longer if we could. I highly recommend rushop hall.

We stayed in Boots while visiting Peak Cavern, and had such a lovely time. The hosts were welcoming and served the nicest breakfast. It's an idyllic place, more than a B&B, and feels far away from the real world. Waking up to birds and sheep was lovely. So glad we found it, and we'll definitely go again.

The views are beautiful, and the remote, relaxing setting is perfect for a good night's sleep and waking up to lovely scenery. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully cooked, with fresh fruit and yogurt as welcome extras. Jan & Neil are amazing hosts, offering customer service that feels warm while still giving you your own space. Nothing is ever too much trouble, so do ask them. It's refreshing that the high standards are still there, and our stay was just as delightful as it was seven years ago. We'll definitely be back next year. This was our third Easter holiday visit to beautiful Rushop Hall. The first two times we stayed in the relaxing, comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms above the dining area. This time we tried the Pepper Pot and were blown away by the high standard, especially the attention to detail and comfort in the little cottage for our two night stay.
