We had a fantastic stay at Craflywn Hall. The house was immaculate, the facilities were excellent, and the setting is convenient, with Beddgelert within walking distance and Snowdon nearby. It would be lovely if the bedrooms without en-suites had bathrobes. A practical issue was the lack of clear signs for privacy and private parking. Several members of the public came up to the house to ask about looking around or a café, and a few tried to use the parking area. Our large group had just enough spaces for ourselves, and after paying a considerable amount for a relaxing break, we didn't want to worry about parking or unexpected visitors at the door. We still really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

An enormous, charming house in a beautiful landscape, with lovely furnishings, a great kitchen, a bar and wonderful views. Highly recommend.

A great base for walks right from the door, with Beddgelert just down the road if you don't fancy cooking. This is now a self-catering holiday home for 16 across 8 rooms. It's beautifully decorated and equipped, very well heated, and has luxury bathrooms, three lounges and even a bar. Highly recommended.

A lovely place to spend time with friends or family. There are excellent walks starting at the property and nearby, and Snowdon is only minutes away.

We stayed in a converted outbuilding, set up as a studio, and it was just right for two people and a dog. The building and estate are beautiful, and owned by the National Trust. Walking paths start right at the door, so we could explore Eryri, its hills, mountains, lakes and towns on foot. It was early October but still warm. I walked for miles and swam in waterfall pools and lakes. Llyn Dinas was so still and quiet, with hardly anyone around for much of the morning. Nearby Beddgelert is a charming little town with some great places to eat and independent shops. If you like getting out in nature and away from crowds, an out-of-season visit is well worth it.
