We camped with an electric hookup and could pick our own pitch. The toilet and shower facilities were good, and the views are amazing. Pwllheli and Caernarfon are both within easy reach.

It’s a lovely sun trap, and the facilities are spot on. A kind lady looked after my backpack and even paid for my shower when I didn’t have any change. I really appreciated that and would happily stay again.

The location worked well for reaching the better beaches and attractions, and there’s a small mini market just down the road. The cottage had a spacious, well stocked kitchen, useful utilities, a roomy lounge and a good bathroom. There’s no WiFi, but the mobile signal is pretty good. The DVD player didn’t work, and the technology overall felt very dated. It seems the converted stable hasn’t been updated since the conversion some time ago. The bedrooms were very damp, and none of us slept well because the beds were so soft and lumpy. Mattress toppers would help at the very least. For whatever reason, we never met Mary.

The setting took my breath away when I visited in June 2021. Mary greeted us warmly and showed us around inside. Everything anyone could need was there, and the place was sparkling clean. I can’t wait to return.
