Saracens Head

We came to beddgelert for a week away and ate here on our last day. The lamb shank was absolutely beautiful, full of flavour, plentiful, and hot. The young man who served us was polite and efficient, and the pub was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Couldn't fault it.

We hadn't stayed here, but booked Sunday lunch and had an amazing experience. The staff were helpful, and the food was plentiful and delicious. The Yorkshire pudding was enormous. It was a great lunch, good value, in a beautiful location.

We had a great three day break in Snowdonia. The breakfast was superb and plentiful, and there was even one for our pooch, a lovely touch. Dinner was very nice too, and there was a great selection of beers. Our room was clean, spacious, quiet, and dog friendly. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Thanks for making us so welcome, Chris. We'll be back one day, see you again soon.

We stopped in for drinks and the staff were super friendly. They let our girls sniff about since nobody else was in. It's not that expensive considering the location. There's covered outdoor seating, and a beer garden by the river across the road. Dog owners will love this place. It's probably the most dog welcoming spot I've been to. There's a water bowl and towels at the entrance for drying off your little loved one. Maybe that's a gimmick, but inside the main entrance there are big jars of dog treats. You can buy your furry friend a treat or a full dinner, and the bar also sells dog treats and a ready prepared meal. Big thumbs and paws up from me, Maggie and Luna.
