Totters Hostel

The Town House feels modern but still cosy, and the beds are comfortable with soft, fresh linen. The design and fittings have clearly had a lot of thought put into them. Kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed, and the place is amazing value. The hosts are really nice as well. I'd give it seven stars if the site offered them!

The owner was welcoming, and for the price the flat was clean and tidy overall. The setting is lovely and the stay was good value. The main issue was a bad smell inside, probably from the old house, though a couple of air fresheners might help. There was also some confusion about breakfast being available until around 10. We came down at 9:15 and there was nothing left except toast with butter and jam, plus cereal. All in all, okay for what we paid.

We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Totters is spotless, tidy and peaceful, and we couldn't hear other guests at night. The beds were really comfortable too. It's in a fabulous spot close to the sea wall and castle. We'd definitely stay again.

The rooms are spacious, with lovely interiors, great views and comfortable mattresses. There were lots of home comforts, including board games and all the essentials. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and the value for money was incredible. Thank you!
