The apartment was close to the train station and an easy walk into central Cambridge. Staff were friendly and efficient, and I had an excellent stay. I'd recommend these apartments for a business trip or a holiday.

The builders were noisy, but after I posted about it, a lovely gentleman got in touch straight away with a very sincere apology. He showed us another apartment and brought a beautiful bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates, which we hadn't expected and were very grateful for. The property itself was lovely, just affected by the building work. The apartment was beautifully designed, spacious, and had everything we could need. There were chocolates and a lovely white london company toiletries gift set, and the beds were big and comfy. The grounds are stunning and well kept. Two kind gentlemen they hired helped us move our things to the new apartment. We never expected all that attention over one problem, and they sorted it out more quickly and professionally than I've ever seen. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a beautiful place to stay in Cambridgeshire. Thank you all, Megan and family.

It's a shame to leave a negative review because this could have been sorted out at the start. I rely on reviews when deciding where to go and like to leave them to help others. The reviews I found were all four or five stars, and I wish our stay had lived up to that. Contact before arrival was great. My partner, our dog, and I were visiting Cambridge for the first time over a long bank holiday weekend. We called an hour and twenty minutes before getting there as requested, but then waited about 15 minutes in the rain for someone to let us in. I had to call to find out what was happening. They showed us to our allocated space in the gated, CCTV-monitored underground car park, which was very quiet. But the garage-door key for the lift didn't work, so we had to walk back out to the main entrance in the rain several times with all our weekend belongings, including the dog bed. At first the apartment looked nice, but once we settled in, problems became clear for somewhere sold as a luxury serviced apartment. We couldn't open the balcony doors without wrestling with the curtains, because the rails were badly designed and poorly fitted. The sofas were worn and uncomfortable. The bed was small, uncomfortable, and so noisy that it squeaked horrendously whenever we sat down or turned over, with bolts coming loose. The shower-head holder was broken and kept falling, so we had to hold it in place. There were a few other issues too. The next morning, when asked why I'd given only two stars based on our first impressions, I reported most of them. We could have been happy if some had been fixed, but the response was that they'd look into it the following week. That wasn't helpful during our stay. We'd spent more than we would on a hotel because we wanted extra space, and were disappointed by the end of the weekend. Our car was also damaged in the car park, and we're still discussing it with the building's managing company. After a long conversation with Signet, we were offered a small refund. I suspect some of their other apartments are much nicer and really do have a luxury feel. Perhaps we were put in one of the shoddy ones because we had a dog, though I don't know. Either way, the experience was soured and I won't use Signet again.

I stayed in January 2020 for two weeks, and the location was very convenient. Having a full kitchen and washer-dryer made it much better than a hotel room. It was close to the train, restaurants, and a gym, and the customer service was wonderful. Highly recommend.

A handy spot for a work trip or a holiday, right near the station and very central.
